To rest on the first day of the festival of Sukkot
לשבות בראשון של חג הסוכות
The verse · Vayikra 23:35
בַּיּוֹם הָרִאשׁוֹן מִקְרָא־קֹדֶשׁ כׇּל־מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹדָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ
“On the first day shall be a holy gathering: you shall do no servile work.”

To rest on the first day of the festival of Sukkot, as [Leviticus 23:35] states: "On the first day, there shall be a sacred holiday."
