The verse · Devarim 12:13
הִשָּׁמֶר לְךָ פֶּן־תַּעֲלֶה עֹלֹתֶיךָ בְּכׇל־מָקוֹם אֲשֶׁר תִּרְאֶה
“Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:”

Not to offer sacred offerings outside [the Temple], as [Deuteronomy 12:13] states: "Be careful, lest you offer your burnt offerings...."
