To judge regarding the damages caused by an ox

The verse · Shemot 21:35
וְכִי־יִגֹּף שׁוֹר־אִישׁ אֶת־שׁוֹר רֵעֵהוּ וָמֵת וּמָכְרוּ אֶת־הַשּׁוֹר הַחַי וְחָצוּ אֶת־כַּסְפּוֹ וְגַם אֶת־הַמֵּת יֶחֱצוּן
“And if one man’s ox hurt another’s, that he die; then they shall sell the live ox, and divide the money of it; and the dead ox also they shall divide.”
The Rambam’s words
To judge regarding the damages caused by an ox, as [Exodus 21:35] states: "If an ox belonging to one person gores an ox belonging to a colleague...."
